Privacy Policy

This is a working draft for the ClipClap private-beta period. A full, legally reviewed version will replace this before the platform opens to the public.

What we collect

Account info you provide: name, email, role, profile details
Production data you create or upload: contacts, projects, budgets, notes, photos, files
Authentication metadata: session tokens, IP address (for rate limiting), browser info (for bug reports)

How we use it

Run the application for you and your team
Send transactional emails (wrap zips, share-link invitations, password resets)
Investigate bugs and improve reliability
Comply with legal obligations

How we protect it

HTTPS-only transport (TLS 1.2+)
Database encrypted at rest by our infrastructure provider
Passwords hashed with bcrypt — we cannot read them
File uploads stored privately, served via short-lived signed URLs
Backups encrypted and retained for 7 days

Your rights

Request an export of your data at any time
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Object to or restrict specific uses of your data

Third parties

We use a small set of vendors to operate the platform — hosting (Render), database, file storage (Cloudflare R2), transactional email (Resend), and error monitoring (Sentry). Each is contractually bound to handle data only for our purposes.
